What is Operation Asparagus?
After witnessing the 5/9/2003 show in Spartanburg, the Owner / Booker (Mick) had this to say about the show:

"It was like a combination of Eminem, Tenacious D, Frank Zappa, and Dennis Leary…funny as fucking hell. Pretty soon, I won't be able to afford this guy! The shit he pulled off takes A LOT of balls…I might not believe in God, but I do believe in Jay."

Operation Asparagus (also to be known as O.A.) is a one man acoustic / electric / comedy / hiphop / ??? show that features Jay (Dick Delicious) doing everything. Really, the whole thing is pretty hard to describe, and is WAY cooler than it sounds - it's, for sure, the most original idea to float down the pop culture superhighway in a while. No amount of needless hype can do it justice; it just has to be seen to be believed.
